What are the best essences for me to sell?

Can I ask you for help or advice with specific customer queries?

Yes. You are always welcome to ask us for help and advice on any aspect of stocking our essences, whether that's relating to finding the right essences for your customer ( whether that person is an individual, a practitioner or a shop ), finding out more about what each essence does, or a technical question about the essences. Our dedicated team at Crystal Herbs are all trained essence practitioners and healers in their own right and we'd be happy to help.

Can I use the essence descriptions from your website and social media posts?

Yes. You are welcome to use the essence descriptions we have written on the site and on social media posts. These descriptions have been written to ensure they meet the official requirements for describing essences in the UK. Each essence description on the website contains key points about the benefits of taking the essence. What are the best before dates on your essences?

Each of our essences has a best before date on the label. The length of the best before date varies a bit between essences ranges, depending on the amount and type of preservative. Most of our essences are in an organic brandy & water mix ( brandy was the original preservative that Dr Bach choose because of its purity ) and these have a best before date of approximately 6 years. The Pure Vibrations Sprays are in vodka and rose water and have a two year use by date. Our custom combinations ( such as the Bach Flower Remedy Custom Combinations and the Deeper Acting Flower, Gem & Crystal Essence custom combinations ) are made to order and have a best before date of approximately 3 months. The Inner Child Essences and Rainbow Light Body Essences are preserved in vodka and water and have a best before of around 6 years. Where we offer alternative preservative options ( cyder vinegar or vegetable glycerine ) the best before date matches the best before of the preservative used and generally that is around 18 months.

As a general rule if they have been stored properly and well looked after your essences will be fine to use well beyond this date - both brandy and cider vinegar are long lasting preservations!

Our Revival Creams have a best before of around about two years.

Do you have a minimum order requirement?

No. We have no minimum order requirement which means that you can order in the quantities that most suit your needs. This allows customers who want to stock large quantities to order in bulk and others to order as and when they need to. This also means that customers can sell items that they do not hold in stock, either ordering when required or using drop shipping service.

Do You Have A Suggested Retail Price?

Our suggested retail price is displayed on the price list PDF we have sent to you. This is what we sell our essences for to our retail customers, but you are completely free to set your own retail price, whether that be below, at, or above our RRP.

Do you offer alternative preservatives to brandy?

We primarily use organic brandy because it is an effective and traditional base for preserving the essences. On special request we can also offer the options of cider vinegar (10ml and 25ml size) and vegetable glycerine (25ml size only) for small quantities of essences. There is a small extra charge for these.

The Inner Child and Rainbow Light Body Essences and the Pure Vibrations sprays are preserved in organic wheat alcohol instead of brandy.

Do you offer a barcoded label?

While most of our customers prefer not to have a barcode on their label, for those that run a stock control system or have other requirements for a barcode on their labels, we do offer this as an option. Our barcodes are standard EAN-13 ( GTIN-13 ) and there is a code for each of our Essences and sets. If you would like a barcod added to your label, please do contact us to discuss your requirements with us.

Do your essences have a seal on them?

Yes. All of our 10ml Essences come with a tamper evident shrink seal on them and all of the 25ml Essences have a tamper evident screw cap. Our 30ml sprays have a tamper evident shrink seal on them. Both 50gr and 100gr cream pots have a tamper evident label. This helps you and your customers to know that the essence they are buying has not been opened or tampered with.

Do you offer a dropshipping service

Yes we do offer a dropshipping service which is convenient if you either don't hold a lot of stock, work by mail order or sell through third party sellers like eBay, Amazon etc. The drop-shipping service enables you to order as and when required and we will shop the order directly to your customer.

If you would like to use this service while ordering online, simply complete your customer’s name and address in the delivery field during the payment process, or if ordering by phone request that we send the order directly to your customer. We will then ship the order directly to your customer with a dispatch note saying it’s from you and send the invoice/ receipt to you. Does Crystal Herbs belong to any trade associations

Yes, we are a member of the British Association of Flower Essence Producers ( BAFEP ). BAFEP is the trade association for producers of Bach Flower Remedies and other types of Essences, both in the UK/EU and beyond. It advises on the standards of production, labeling and advertising in accordance with the guidelines as laid down in law by various UK governmental agencies. We are also a friend of the British Flower & Vibrational Essences Association ( BFVEA ) and also a member of The Biodynamic Agricultural Association ( BDAA ).
